Muddy mutts

So how's everyone doing today ?

This is going to be a quick one, more pictures than anything else to save the eyes from the computer glare, seems it's going to be the only way. I am hoping to pop round and visit some of you today, but might only be a few words, so please forgive me until I am back on track again.

My first share is using what is probably my favourite sentiment stamp Penny Black 2695J which I stamped and then run through the Cuttlebug. The Ivy is Hero Arts K5313, stamped with Adirondack Meadow twice and one cut out and inked with Versamark frost and spritzed with Glimmer Mist pearl to enable me to shape the laves before decoupaging. Then some stickles added here and there to create berries. This card is for the following challenges:

The Craft Pad - Anything goes
One Stitch at a Time - Old stash, new stash (stamps old, stickles new)
Alphabet Challenge - F for foliage

My second card is this lovely slapstick from Penny Black 40-027 stamped and coloured with Copics. The DP is from stash (K&Co I think), the poinsettia is Penny Black 4104K stamped onto shrink plastic and coloured with a Sakura pen before shrinking. The sentiment comes with the little girl image. Layers of glitter paper for snow plus Judikins snow glitter added for snowflakes. This card is for the following challenges:

Secret Crafter - Christmas
Paper Playtime - Snowflakes

And finally a few pictures of the girls and boys, no Abbey, her arthritis is really bad and she's not moving far from her basket lately bless her.

George, Bernie and Buffy - check the muddy floor - wonder whose gonna clean that up ?

Lily and Daisy - check the muddy legs - they both look a bit distorted but sitting to pose is still something they've not quite grasped.

Please don't feel you have to apoligise for not getting round to visiting - it's a bonus when we get visitors - not a right - and most of us have times when blog hopping has to be put on the back burner for a while. Hope the eye problem soon improves though.

Hi Brenda, love both of these cards. The first one I remember from Saturday, it's very elegant. I love the way you have used the nesties on the second card and such a cute image. The doggie pics are lovely too. Our stray moggie has taken up residence on my chair in my craft room during this cold weather, I told her that there's hardly space for my craft stash yet alone her - haven't the heart to evict her (lol). Hope your eyes are better soon. Linda x

Love both your cards Brenda. Quite different but equally gorgeous. Lovely to see your doggies. My 2 can't pose either, usually moving too fast or rolling about fighting. Thanks for visiting my blog, that was really nice of you when you can only use the computer a little while at a time.

Beautiful cards Brenda. I love the clean, fresh look of the first one with the delicate decoupage and the easel card is gorgeous too. I think I need that set of label dies!

Love the pics of your furry friends but have no idea how you cope with so many and such big dogs. My little Snoopy drives me potty sometimes, Lol!

The climbing ivy and sentiment are gorgeous Brenda. Love the little cutie below too, you definitely have the best selection of PB stamps I know but why are they so expensive:( Love all the doggies, how on earth do you cope with them though! My little squirt has the place crazy with gutters at the minute, dread to think what it would be like with that lot lol. Hope you are keeping well and resting those eyes.
